Harvest Dinner Party

We had our Harvest Dinner party on November 12th with two seatings. One seating at 12:00 noon and another seating at 1:00 pm. We served over 100 people.
The event was very well attended and the residents and families all seemed to really enjoy themselves. We had a lot of compliments on the food and the service and enjoyed a wonderful harpist for entertainment.
Hats off to our Chef and his team for the delicious prime rib and chicken entrees. A lot of employees showed up on their day off to help make the Harvest Dinner a success.
Halloween Celebration

Hawthorne Gardens celebrated Halloween this year with a wonderful party! We had a costume contest, a mad scientist, all the witches from East to West, chili and cornbread, punch and of course the wonderful balloon man. A great time for everyone!

2011 Walk to End Alzheimer's

A team of 2 walkers from Hawthorne Gardens joined the nearly 160 member team of Frontier Management as the Presenting sponsor of the Alzheimer’s Association annual Walk To End Alzheimer’s in Portland, Oregon.
“What a wonderful day to walk for a great cause, be a part of a terrific team and be a voice and advocate for those suffering with this disease,” stated Meagan Lawler, Executive Director of Hawthorne Gardens Assisted Living & Memory Care.
Collectively, Frontier Management and its many communities raised over $20,000 through its sponsorships, donations, fundraising activities and other means.
